Need I say more??
My journey to rediscover myself through graphite, acrylic and canvas...and maybe a cookie or two.

COOKIES!!
So, Yum! I made some Oatmeal Coconut Chewies (and added a few things to it) yesterday and they turned out very delish! :D So, here is the recipe (and site that I snagged it from) along with my few added ingredients down at the bottom. Enjoy!
Oh, and I plan on drawing today...doesn't mean I'll get to it, but I'm planning on it. ;)

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened to cool room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup shredded, sweetened coconut
1 cup quick oats
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl cream together the sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased or lined (silpat or parchment) baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes, until the cookies are set but not overly browned (bake a few minutes longer for a crispier version).
**I added 1 cup craisins (I HATE raisins with a capital "Get them the fuck away from me")
**Cinnamon to taste (I practice the dump and pour method of seasonings)

Blah...
I need to draw something, or do something artsy...Meh...
I did, however, find this:
http://dueysdrawings.com/
And Holy Crap did it make me realize how elementary I am. I seriously need to step it up!
On a side note, I made chocolate chip cookies today :)
